I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, earning my Psychology degree at UCAB in 2006. Life took me to Paris, Munich, Buenos Aires, and now Miami since 2010. These diverse experiences enriched my cultural awareness and language skills, proving to be extremely valuable in my career as a therapist.
Amid my country’s socio-political crisis, we settled in Miami. In 2018, I completed my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Saint Thomas University, earning the Spirit of Saint Thomas award for positive leadership and academic excellence.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I specialize in individual therapy, and parent coaching. My focus includes anxiety, lack of motivation, low performance, relationship issues, loss, life transitions, pregnancy, and parenting.
When approaching mental health, I look at the bigger picture. It’s not just about addressing specific symptoms but considering the person as a whole — mind, body, and lifestyle. This approach involves understanding how various aspects of life, like relationships, nutrition, stress, and physical health, impact mental well-being.
I use my psychodynamic background to help clients understand interpersonal dynamics and uncover behavioral patterns that they might not be aware of. I integrate attachment-based concepts, cognitive behavioral strategies, and mindfulness into my approach to better support them.
My personal journey involved years of Psychoanalytic Therapy, offering insights into my dynamics and empowering authenticity. Having been a client myself, I deeply value the trust and vulnerability clients share, emphasizing strict confidentiality.
Fluent in Spanish and English, with conversational French and basic German, I enjoy cooking, yoga, golf, and surfing in my free time. I’ve been married for over 21 years and live in Miami with my spouse and three kids.
